As a Laotian-American raised in Rhode Island and now residing in Florida, Emma is a Social Media Researcher for DAY’s podcast, Dear Asian Girl. Through her work, she strives to explore and connect the stories of the underrepresented voices of Asian girls like her and the larger community. She is also passionate about intersectionality, especially concerning sustainability and social justice. After a workday at DAY, you might find her taking the mic to sing karaoke duets with her sisters, discovering new music artists/genres to vibe to, or catching up on the many TV shows she hasn’t finished (yet continues to start new ones anyway).
