working at DAY

At DAY, we prioritize team unity and an enthusiastic work environment that fosters support.  By entering DAY with other cohort members, you will undergo the onboarding process as a family, advancing together in your integration into Dear Asian Youth.

Our team has been working hard to develop unique opportunities for our Cohorts, including...

  • Mini workshops targeted towards professional skills, including communication, time management, etc.

  • Specialized training on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

  • Networking/”speed dating” events within the DAY team and virtual team retreats

  • Opt-in mentorship programs

  • Features on our Instagram/website/media platforms welcoming the November Cohort

  • An incredibly comprehensive and welcoming onboarding/orientation process

please note, while DAY is a primarily U.S.-based organization, we do have many non-U.S. members. We encourage and welcome those who are not based in the U.S. to apply! We also highly encourage West, South, Central, and North Asians to apply. ALL POSITIONS are unpaid and volunteer-based! This is because Dear Asian Youth is a youth-led organization entirely run by students. No positions at DAY are currently being compensated, including Executive Board positions.
