Born and raised in New Jersey, Zahara is a social media moderator for Dear Asian Youth who is passionate about activism and Asian culture. They are a Bengali-American freshman in high school who plays saxophone and is a part of the school newspaper. Zahara’s biggest passions are psychology, linguistics, and writing. You will most likely find them reading, watching movies, or cooking up new recipes.
