When she isn’t writing poetry or gushing about Studio Ghibli, Tashfa spends her time pretending her life is a profound coming-of-age novel, making absurdly specific Spotify playlists, coming up with slightly odd names for her plants, and trying to convince everyone within a ten-mile radius to read Ocean Vuong's On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous. Chungking Express is her favourite film to think about when she feels like having an existential crisis with a fun soundtrack.
