Nikhitha, a high school junior from Clarksburg in MD, is the Chapter Director of Dear Asian Youth. Through DAY, she loves being able to create new opportunities for Asian youth to become leaders in their schools and communities, as well as contributing to creating a space promoting acceptance and inclusion for the pan-Asian community. Outside of DAY, Nikhitha is a youth advocate and political organizer, and is incredibly passionate about taking action to bring tangible and progressive change on the state and national level, as well as taking action on current legislative issues, and is currently serving as the MD State Director for Generation Ratify and the Vice President of MoCo Students for Change.
