A proud Chinese-American, Kaitlyn is an eager writer for Dear Asian Youth. She wants to uplift the Asian community and continue embracing her culture through poetry, personal narratives, and opinion articles. Outside of DAY, you can find Kaitlyn painting, binging Netflix until 2 AM, or taking spontaneous walks to her local Meijers. And she's always down for discussing art history or literature-that is if she isn't eating her fifth popsicle of the day.
