An American-born Malaysian Chinese, Joie is on the Diversity and Inclusion Task Force of Dear Asian Youth. She loves to read, write and learn about the large Asian diaspora to help promote better representation of Asians in the media. When she's not vetting scripts or busy with Journalism and Economics assignments, she loves to spend her free time reading, watching anime and (very cheesily) taking walks in botanical gardens while freezing in New York.
