A girl of Filipino and Syrian descent, Ava likes to practice her writing and works on her visual art everyday. She currently is a sophomore at McNair Academic High School in Jersey City. Ava loves to travel and go hiking with friends, and has a pet calico cat! She's interested in social justice and loves to learn about other cultures as well as her own.
