Erika was born and raised in the Bay Area, California, and growing up, she has always loved to read and write. She loves being a part of DAY because it gives her an opportunity to write about social issues she cares about, while meeting a larger community of people she shares so many similar interests with. Currently, she goes to college in Chicago where she loves trying new restaurants!
