Literature Current Events Writer
As a Current Events Writer, you will work as part of Dear Asian Youth’s Literature Department within the Current Events Team to cover a broad range of topics, including global crises, pop culture, and current events.
You will collaborate with editors and fellow writers to produce quality articles that ethically tell the narratives and stories of various communities. You will work under the guidance of the Deputy Editor of Current Events and a team of Lead Editors.
Within this position, you will be given the opportunity to pitch, write, and cover a multitude of global events, and tell stories of people around the world.
You are expected to write 1 to 2 pieces every month.
Time commitment: 3-4 hours/week + quarterly meetings
