Finance & Fundraising Co-Director

As the Finance and Fundraising Co-Director, you will lead the Finance Team alongside the other Co-Director.

A core component of your role is to engage our community in fundraising, either to financially support Dear Asian Youth as an organization or to donate to other meaningful causes. You will guide the team in developing fundraising strategies and formulating solicitation procedures.

You will also be helping out in the process of nonprofit application for the organization.

In addition, you will lead the effort to formally seek funding through grant writing.

Lastly, you will manage Dear Asian Youth's finances, overseeing all financial activities and reporting on revenue.

Most importantly, a director of Dear Asian Youth needs to be passionate, hardworking, kind, and creative. You will be expected to facilitate a healthy and productive work environment in which all members of the Finance Department feel safe, heard, and respected. As one of the members of the Executive Board, you will also make other administrative decisions that steer Dear Asian Youth towards a sustainable future.

This position will require up to 8-12 hours per week.
